Unexpected

Monochromatic photos of small town, my town, Silver City buildings… Some abandoned or just closed down.  What is behind those windows and doors?  I remove them with a razor blade, and sew in different color or hand-painted photos of the unexpected-giant flowers or clouds, or cacti or stucco walls from another location. Found color comic strips from a 1964 local newspaper peek out of the courthouse windows or giant flowers are tied up in “ropes”.
