August First Friday "Meet the Weaver" at the Grant County Art Guild Gallery!
Weaver Wendi Kitting Oliveira will demonstrate freestyle frame weaving (an off-loom weaving technique), as well as some hand spinning on suspended spindles. She will provide tiny frames and “treasure basket” of yarn bits in case you want to try YOUR hand at the technique. Take home your own woven keychain—Oliveira designed a laser cut keychain frame just for this event!
