Creatures of the Gila:
Grant County Art Guild Art Show
Location: GCAG Annex
Show Dates: Sept 4-19, 2021
The Grant County Art Guild will be holding the show “Creatures of the Gila,” in their newly opened Annex, located at 106 E Market, one block off Bullard, and across the footbridge from the Silver City Visitor Center parking lot.
The Creatures of the Gila At Show is an art and education event that depicts, or is inspired by,“Creatures” (mammals, fish, birds, insects and reptiles) whose habitat is within the Gila River watershed. Each entry will be displayed with a description of that particular “creature” and its habitat. Mediums will range from painting to textiles to paper mache sculptures—something to interest everyone.
The show runs from Labor Day weekend through the Gila River Festival, Sept 4-19. Weekend and holiday hours are 10am-5pm, weekdays noon-5pm. Extended hours of 10-5pm will be held weekdays during the Gila River Festival. This show is a free Gila River Festival event.
