The Grant County Art Guild is hosting an opening reception from 4 pm - 6 pm on September 2 for the “Creatures of the Gila” art show, with judge Diana Ingalls Leyba announcing the winners at 5 pm. The artwork in “Creatures” depicts, or is inspired by, creatures (mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, and insects) who make their home in the Gila River watershed. Each piece is displayed with a description of that creature and its habitat.
