CALL FOR ART

The Grant County Art Guild is holding a “Creatures of the Gila” Art Show Sept 2-18, 2022 in the GCAG Annex, 106 E Market, Silver City, NM. The show will depict, or be inspired by, “Creatures” (mammals, fish, birds, reptiles, or insects) who live in the Gila River watershed. Each entry will be paired with a description of the creature and its habitat. The descriptions will be written by the Guild. The deadline for entry forms is July 31. Art drop-off date is August 29. You need not be a member of the Guild to be in the show. Show categories are: photography, painting, misc. wall-hung, and 3D/freestanding. Best in Show prize is $250. 1st prize in each category is $50, with ribbons for 2nd and 3rd place. People’s Choice Award will be given the last weekend of the show.
