Shara Bunis

Nature is the driving force behind my artwork and each piece is created with the intention of connection. Although a long- time photographer, I didn’t truly find my creative voice until later in life after leaving the corporate world. Today, using a combination of photography and watercolor, I seek to capture both the immense beauty of all that surrounds us as well as those intimate details of flora and fauna that might otherwise be missed in the bustle of everyday life. Currently residing in Silver City, New Mexico, my work is largely representative of the magnificent bounty of nature in the southwestern desert.
