Every quilt is a puzzle... but one that has no wrong outcomes. I love cutting out blocks of colors and patterns , then the fun begins when you lay them out in multiple configurations... Moving them ever so slightly until they reach their “potential” (in my eyes of course).

The regularity of patterning appeals very directly to me, whether in old quilting designs or in new modern interpretations of repeating images.

Stitching textural lines to add meaning to the piece is the final creative act!
