The Silver City Art Association (SCAA) is holding its annual RED DOT Weekend at the Galleries, with safety and social distancing in place, October 9 and 10, 2020 from 11-5 pm both days. The self-guided walking tour of Historic Downtown will invite local residents to browse and buy affordable art unique to Silver City, meet the artists, enjoy music, food, and demonstrations while wearing masks and practicing social distancing.

A special feature of this year’s event will be a silent auction of 20 Gila Monsters created by Silver City artists to support SCAA events and promote the organization’s mission of advancing the arts in Silver City and Grant County. Gila Monsters can be viewed at several galleries before the event where guests can place bids in the silent auction. The auction will close on Saturday, October 10, at 3:00 pm.

A donation on of 10% will be made to the Gila Conservation Coalition.
