The Grant County Art Guild Studio, 211 N Texas, is hosting a Hiram Lewis Art Exhibition over two weekends, Oct 11-13 and 19-20. The opening reception is Oct 11, 5-7pm during the kickoff to the 26th annual Weekend at the Galleries. Hiram’s highly evocative paintings are the product of a deeply unique mind that, while familiar with the lineage of other virtuosos, is fully set free and saturated with his own particular vision.  His brushstrokes are both loose and expressive, yet highly refined with a masterful understanding of color and composition.  Reading Hiram’s paintings is an experience unto itself.
