The Grant County Art Guild in Silver City is offering a free teen workshop,“Spring into Art,” March 16-18 during the high school spring break. This three session afternoon workshop will be held in the GCAG Annex and will cover the basics of three art mediums—pastels, watercolors and acrylics, plus the building blocks of 2D art—shape, color and shading. The last day will be a paint party where the students will put together everything they have learned. While this workshop is free, space is limited and registration is required.
